Terry Rout AACI

Terry Rout, AACI, P.App. is a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AACI) and has worked within the real estate investment management and appraisal industry since 1988. He has an extensive background in representing clients in arbitration and Ontario Municipal Board Hearings. Prior to co-founding Janterra, Terry held the position of Asset Manager with Great-West Life Realty Advisors, for five years, and was responsible for multi-residential analysis and reporting for both pension and segregated mutual funds. In this capacity he helped asset and property manage over 15,000 unit Canadian apartment portfolio for prominent pension fund clients. Terry is a graduate of the Real Property Administration from Seneca College. Terry is involved with appraisals relating to all classes of real estate with a focus on land and commercial properties.
Janet Moorfield AACI

Janet Moorfield, AACI,P.App is a Principal and co-founder of Janterra. Janet is a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AACI) and holds an Honours B.Sc. from the University of Toronto (Victoria College). She has worked in the appraisal industry since 1985 and is a recognized leader in the multi-residential sector since 1998. She has been involved with all facets of the multi-residential sector and has worked with purchasers, vendors, lenders, lawyers, developers and government departments. Janet has specialized in the valuation of multi-national and multi-billion dollar portfolios for purposes of acquisition (including due diligence), sale, financing and various accounting capacities including ongoing quarterly and annual valuation for International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). As part of these mandates, Janet has developed methods of tangible and intangible value allocation for the multi-residential sector and she has written key valuation programs to facilitate the unique valuation requirements of this sector. Prior to co-founding Janterra, Janet was with Mackenzie, Ray, Heron & Edward for 13 years.
Brian Posey AACI

Brian Posey, AACI, P.App. is a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AACI) and has been an appraiser since 1993, including a focus on office and industrial properties. He has conducted valuations for numerous major office properties, including Commerce Court, Yonge Eglinton Centre, 33 Yonge Street, 151 Yonge Street, 4 King Street West, 5255 Yonge Street and 3500 Steeles Avenue East. Clients include purchasers, vendors, lenders, lawyers, developers and government departments. Prior to joining Janterra, Brian was with Mackenzie, Ray, Heron & Edwardh for eight years. Brian has also worked with Met Life Equity Investments and Great West Life Mortgages.
Jonathan Bannister AACI

Jonathan Bannister, AACI, P.App. is a designated Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AACI) and holds a Bachelor of Business Economics Degree from Brock University and a Diploma in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia. Jonathan joined Janterra in 2012. He started his appraisal carreer in 1999 with Mackenzie, Ray, Heron & Edwardh. During that time Jonathan was also an Editor for the Marsh Report, which analyses commercial sales over $1 million in the GTA. As an appraiser he has focused on development land, residential and retail condominiums and industrial properties, including numerous downtown condominium sites, the Splendid China Mall and the Flamborough Power Centre.

Jennifer Doane is a designated CRA member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada and has worked within the real estate and appraisal industry since 2006. Since joining Janterra, Jennifer has provided appraisal and consulting services for single family and small multi-residential properties for a variety of purposes including estates, acquisitions, power of sale, financing, construction and separation of assets.
